Observe Your Natural Rhythm
Begin by writing down how your day flows as it is now. Note what you do at different times, when your energy peaks or drops, and whether your energy feels sustained. This helps bring awareness to your current rhythm. Listing all your daily tasks—both personal and work—here will make it easier to categorize them later.
Categorize by Dosha Times
Use the Ayurvedic time blocks to begin grouping your tasks:
Kapha (6–10am): Grounding routines, gentle movement
Pitta (10am–2pm): Focused tasks, decision-making, main meal
Vata (2–6pm): Creative and collaborative tasks
Kapha (6–10pm): Unwinding, nourishing meals, restful rituals
Pitta (10pm–2am): Body repair—prioritize sleep
Vata (2–6am): Meditation, reflection, or deep rest
Optionally, create separate lists for personal and work tasks in each dosha block.
Customize and Align
Use your categorized lists to guide when you do what. Align your to-dos with dosha energies to work with your body, not against it.
Identify Your Anchors
Choose consistent times for waking, sleeping, meals, and breaks. These anchors create stability in your day and help regulate energy.
Ritualize Transitions
Add gentle rituals between dosha shifts—tea, breathwork, stretching, journaling—to support smoother transitions and presence.
Refine as You Go
After a few days or weeks, once you feel confident, you can delete the categorization section and simply use the planner as a dosha-aligned to-do list. Let it evolve with you.
